How Much Revenue Have You Lost?

We built ääni because we kept seeing excellent hospitality businesses lose bookings to something entirely preventable. A phone that wasn't picked up in time.

Revenue recovery calculator

See what missed calls are costing you

Every unanswered call is a booking that walks to a competitor. Choose your type of venue, set the dials to a typical week, and see the revenue ääni could recover — answered around the clock, in your brand's voice.

A typical independent hotel takes dozens of calls a day — reservations, enquiries, changes. Set the dials to your property.

How we calculate this

We start from your daily inbound calls and the share you miss at peak times (industry data puts UK hospitality at roughly 27–40%). Of those missed calls, we treat 45% as genuine booking enquiries — based on ääni's own call analysis — and assume 35% would have converted had a human, or ääni, answered. We then apply your average booking value to estimate recoverable revenue. ääni answers every call 24/7, so in practice it recovers the large majority of these — we show a conservative recovery figure here.

Sources: BT Business Communications Report 2024 (UK SMEs miss ~27% of calls); Zenoti 2025 (37% of salon/spa calls missed); restaurant peak-hour miss rates 25–43% (Popmenu, Maple, Breez 2024–25); SiteMinder UK 2024 (average stay 1.68 nights); UK average restaurant spend ~£22/head (Statista 2025).
